Random, but usually true, well in my case, always true – women go through conditioner faster than they go through shampoo.
Raise your hand if you have this problem, I’m positive I cannot be alone here, there’s no way. I also happen to be one of those people who would prefer to open a new shampoo/conditioner duo at the same time. Having excess shampoo and a new bottle of conditioner drives me bananas; it’s one of my quirks I suppose, I might be alone here.
I mean what if you want to change it up and try a different type or brand, the new shampoo has to wait. And to make it worse you can’t really tell how your hair does with the new brand if you’re using a mix matched shampoo and conditioner.
Now I’m sure there are some people out there in the world who don’t care, mostly men or people that just happened to be more laid back about their hygiene products than I am. Not me. And to add insult to injury, most times the brand will sell smaller conditioner bottles than shampoo, what is that all about? Come on people, cut a girl some slack! I just bought some awesome and very expensive shampoo and conditioner.
Shampoo 8.5 fluid ounces.
Conditioner 6.8 fluid ounces.
I’ll never understand, never.
I have however discovered, and I’m sure I’m not the first, a simple solution to this conundrum I find myself in all to often.
Shampoo for shaving cream!!
I’d like to think myself as a master Macgyver in the toiletries department. I mean us gals shave our legs 5 times a week (let’s be honest, more like 3) but on a good week we’ll go with 5. Using shampoo for your shaving cream is a game changer. This allows you to circulate through your shampoo and conditioner at the same speed, thank you Jesus! And lest we forget the added bonus of not having to buy shaving cream, boom. Maybe this is old news for some, but either way it’s a GAME. CHANGER. Give it a try, let me know what you think.
That’s all for this edition of Em’s tips and tricks, stay tuned, I’m sure I’ll Macgyver something else up soon!
